This coop upgrade includes R13 insulation, just like what’s used in houses, to help keep birds warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The insulation is covered with plywood on the inside, so it looks neat and is easy to clean. Every coop already comes with a house wrap barrier and insulated ceiling to help block wind and moisture, but this upgrade adds even more comfort—especially for people who live in places with really hot or cold weather.
